So, this is a track from the upcoming album by Hand Over Fist who are Mike Mictlan [raps] and Lazerbeak [beats] from Doomtree. Mike sent me over the album and it really is bananas.
The beats bang from start to finish, super booming drums and some delicious basslines with so many tiny details to pick up in the headphones. And Mictlan just takes the raps to a completely ridiculous level, his delivery is literally perfect and he’s lyrically on point.
Doomtree’s output at the moment [crew album, Cecil Otter’s re-issued album and now this] is phenomenal, I can’t take how good it is. Wings and Teeth!
